Job summary

Parfait Paris in San Diego is seeking an Overnight Baker to join our commissary team. This role bakes breads and viennoiserie for all locations, with a start time of 1:00 AM and a finish by 9:30 AM.

We offer $19–$20 per hour, DOE, with a stable full-time schedule and opportunities for growth. The job requires reliability, strong attention to quality, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience required (bread and/or viennoiserie preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage overnight production responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Proof, bake, and finish croissants, pastries, and breads according to company standards
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production
• Follow overnight production schedules to meet daily delivery deadlines
• Prepare products for dispatch to all retail locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
