French Press Bakery & Café in Needham Heights, MA is seeking an Overnight Baker to join our team at the new state-of-the-art commissary. The shift starts at 9 pm and runs into the early morning, producing croissants, pastries, viennoiserie, and bread from scratch.

We bake with European butter and long fermentation, welcome all experience levels, and provide training. This is a hands-on role for detail-oriented bakers who take pride in consistency and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Two years of professional bakery or restaurant kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Training will be provided; all experience levels encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and baking of pastries, viennoiseries, and other bakery items
• Preparation of batters and fillings
• Preparation of mise en place
• Assist in preparation and pack of wholesale deliveries
• Proactive assistance with kitchen cleanliness and organization
