Job summary

Opengate, Inc. is seeking an Awake Night Supervisor to provide supervision, training and direction for direct support professionals on the night shift at our residences.

You will help ensure resident safety and support overnight staff, while participating in agency projects to uphold our mission and values. This role offers a 30-hour weekly schedule Sunday–Tuesday, 11pm–9am, with responsibilities including staffing coordination, AMAP certification maintenance, crisis intervention, and reporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working with people with ID/DD; 2 years preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and certified to operate an Opengate vehicle.
• AMAP certification or eligible to become AMAP certified.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned residences at night to ensure resident health and safety.
• Support and monitor overnight staff.
• Maintain overnight staffing ratios and redeploy staff as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and in-service training to overnight staff.
• Provide information to staff and feedback to leadership.
• Maintain AMAP certification and dispense medication as needed.
• Conduct fire drills and report safety issues.
