Job summary

Opengate, Inc. is seeking an Awake Night Supervisor for community-based residences in Mohegan Lake, NY. This part-time position offers a 30-hour weekly schedule (Thursday–Saturday, 11pm–9am) and pays $24.50–$25.50 per hour.

You will supervise direct care staff, ensure resident safety, and support overnight operations to maintain high-quality care. Responsibilities include overseeing overnight staffing ratios, providing crisis intervention, conducting in-service training, and maintaining AMAP

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year working with people with ID/DD; two years preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and AMAP certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned residences at night to ensure health and safety of residents.
• Support and monitor overnight staff; maintain staffing ratios.
• Provide crisis intervention and in-service training to overnight staff.
• Maintain AMAP certification and dispense medications as needed.
• Conduct fire drills and report safety issues.
