Job summary

Opengate is seeking an Awake Night Supervisor, Residential (PT) in Somers, NY. You will supervise direct support professionals during the night, ensure resident safety, and foster staff development while applying agency policies and collaborating on ongoing improvement projects.

This role follows a Sunday–Tuesday 11pm–9am schedule with a 30-hour work week. Requires a high school diploma, 1+ year experience with ID/DD, supervisory aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and AMAP certification or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year working with people with ID/DD; two years preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an Opengate vehicle.
• AMAP certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned residences on night shift to ensure health and safety of residents.
• Support and monitor overnight staff, maintaining staffing ratios.
• Provide crisis intervention and in-service training as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely documentation; report to supervisors.
• Maintain overnight AMAP certification and dispense medications as needed.
• Conduct fire drills and report safety issues to management.
