Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Qualified New York State Driver’s license that meets insurance standards.
• Successful completion and maintenance of AMAP status.
• Ability to communicate and understand directives; a positive team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight and morning support including self-care routines and health monitoring.
• Assist with medication administration according to AMAP policy.
• Document events and activities in Medisked or paper records.
• Transport people to day programs or job locations using safe driving.
• Mentor and support new Direct Support Staff; participate in team meetings.
