Job summary

Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa seeks a Night Audit professional to manage overnight guest services and balance daily charges for the Headlands, Inn at Cape Kiwanda, and Hart’s Camp properties. You will generate revenue reports, balance tills, and support front desk operations during night hours while ensuring excellent service for guests.

The role requires availability 9:00pm–7:00am, cash handling experience, and proficiency with MS Office and hotel reservation systems.

Qualifications

• Hotel/resort experience preferred (not required).
• Available to work 9:00pm–7:00am; typical shift is 4 ten-hour days per week.
• Experience with cash handling and customer service transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent skills with front office software (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel) and reservation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to multi-task across guest requests and systems.
• Multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Oregon Food Handlers permit as a credential.

Responsibilities

• Balance charges and payments; verify tills and generate daily revenue reports.
• Handle front desk tasks during overnight hours and know property details, amenities, and services.
• Use property management software to make reservations, process deposits, and guest transactions.
• Prepare detailed daily shift reports and communicate guest information to the next shift.
• Answer phones, respond to in-room tablets, assist guests via SMS or in person; assist with basic cleaning as needed.
• Track room revenues, occupancy, housekeeping status, arrivals/departures, and report discrepancies.
• Maintain safety and security with overnight team, ensuring a secure environment for guests.
• Understand availability, rates, packages, and promotions to secure reservations.
• Collaborate with team and offer support as needed.
