Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Armed Protective Services Officer to join our security team in a full-time, overnight role. The shift runs from 11:00 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m., with two consecutive days off each week and 40 hours per week plus overtime opportunities. Responsibilities include armed patrols, incident reporting, and enforcing protective services policies while protecting associates and visitors across Nationwide properties.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; Bachelor or technical school degree preferred.
• Typically 1–3 years of protective services, law enforcement, or military experience desired.
• Pass all required trainings and maintain firearm and/or taser qualifications as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and assist public safety officials.
• Patrol buildings and campuses on foot, bike, or car to ensure safety.
• Prepare incident reports and preserve evidence for investigations.
• Intervene to protect associates, customers, and property; may use force if necessary.
• Provide escorts and assist with training of new Protective Service Officers.
