Job summary

Tradewind Aviation is seeking an Overnight Aircraft Operations Readiness Agent for a seasonal overnight role. You will position aircraft, perform towing, and prepare the fleet for the next day’s operations, coordinating with Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, and flight crews.

The job requires working overnights, weekends, and holidays during the season, with attention to safety and procedure compliance across ramp and airside operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in airport operations, ramp operations, aircraft ground handling, towing, or related aviation environment preferred.
• Current aircraft tug and towing qualification preferred; company training required before independent operation.
• Knowledge of tow tractors, tow bars, chocks, cones, wing-walker procedures, marshalling signals, and pre-use equipment inspections.
• Excellent communication with ATC, Ground Control and operations using standard aviation phraseology.

Responsibilities

• Review overnight aircraft movements, parking assignments, and morning departure priorities.
• Tow, reposition, and park aircraft only when trained and authorized.
• Coordinate aircraft movements with the on-duty supervisor and required teams.
• Secure overnight aircraft with chocks, cones, and protective measures.
• Inspect and prepare aircraft cabins; report damage or maintenance concerns.
• Ensure areas are clean, stocked, and ready for next day operations.
• Follow airport security and ramp procedures; use radio procedures.
• Provide clear turnover of aircraft status and priorities.
