Job summary

Agent Ramp Service, RIC is seeking a dependable Ramp Service Agent to join the Trego Dugan Aviation team. This role supports on-time aircraft turns by loading baggage, marshaling aircraft, and operating ground equipment. Training is provided, and weekend work is required as schedules demand.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, comply with safety protocols, and help customers with special needs as needed. The position is full-time with flexible hours including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read and write English.
• Must obtain SIDA badge and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. per immigration laws.
• Must complete required training.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload baggage and co-mail of various weights and dimensions.
• Operate ground service equipment (GSE) such as tugs and belt loaders safely.
• Marshal aircraft to/from gates and assist with pushback procedures.
• Maintain ramp safety and cleanliness; prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
• Assist with catering and passenger services as needed.
• Conduct security-related checks and report hazards.
• Communicate with team members via two-way radio.
• Support customers with special needs as directed.
