Job summary

Allied Universal in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Security Officer Access Control to safeguard clients at a financial institution and other sites. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor entrances, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role is full-time with an overnight schedule and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. You will respond to alarms and incidents promptly, document observations, and adhere to site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, including contacting emergency services and leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately while maintaining discretion around confidential information.
