Job summary

MasTec Utility Services in Wilmington, NC is seeking an OHE Laborer/Groundman to prepare and clean construction sites, load materials, operate equipment, and support the Construction team. The role involves assisting tradesmen, identifying utilities, and maintaining equipment on active job sites.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. CDL Class A is preferred.

• 1 or more years of experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits and assist in manually digging.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
• Seed and straw.
