Job summary

MasTec Utility Services, a MasTec subsidiary, is seeking an OHE Laborer/Groundman to support the Construction team by preparing sites, loading materials, and assisting tradespeople.

This field role operates outdoors, with requirements including a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; CDL Class A is preferred. You will help identify utilities, maintain equipment, and ensure safety on active job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1 or more years of experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits and assist in manually digging.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
• Seed and straw.
