Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a UGE Laborer/Groundman to support construction crews by preparing and cleaning sites, loading and unloading materials, and assisting tradespeople.

Responsibilities include identifying utilities, operating basic equipment, maintaining tools, and ensuring crews have what they need to complete work. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; CDL-A preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum: Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience.
• Preferred: CDL Class A driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and hazards.
• Assist tradesmen in completing their tasks more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have proper tools and materials.
