MasTec Utility Services is seeking a UGE Laborer/Groundman to support the construction crew on field projects in Wilmington, NC. You will prepare sites, handle materials, operate basic equipment, and assist tradesmen to keep work moving safely and efficiently.

This role emphasizes physical stamina, safety, and teamwork. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; a CDL Class A is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A preferred or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of construction site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
