Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a UGE Laborer/Groundman to support construction crews on field sites in Hendersonville, NC. You will prepare and clean sites, load and unload materials, assist tradespeople, and help keep equipment and trucks supplied for daily operations.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; CDL Class A is preferred. The job involves working outdoors in varying weather and physically demanding tasks with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
