Job summary

WSP USA's Power and Energy Team in Houston, TX is seeking a Full-Time Civil/Structural Engineering (Overhead Transmission Lines) Intern for a 12-week summer program starting May 17, 2027. Open to students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date August 2027 or later.

As a summer intern, you will work alongside senior staff on real projects, gain mentorship through our Developing Professionals Network, and develop technical, social, and ethical skills

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil/Structural Engineering program with a graduation date Aug 2027 or later.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Interest in Civil/Structural Engineering and growth in WSP projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans and cost estimates.
• Maintain project documentation and learn design workflows.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
