Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical overhead distribution systems. The role involves work on energized and de-energized lines, out-of-state travel, and reporting to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include coaching junior staff, ensuring project quality and safety, and operating bucket trucks and other line equipment. Willingness to work outages, storms, and on-call rotations is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• CDL required for travel.
• Proficient with basic computer operations including MS Word.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with live-line work and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings; coach lower classification employees.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines; ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and other overhead line equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights; perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
