Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety‑minded Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized lines and may travel to out‑of‑state sites as needed, reporting to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include safety briefings, coaching lower classifications, ensuring project quality and on-time completion, and hands‑on work with power lines and related equipment. Strong emphasis on safety protocols and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Office applications.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Extended work at job locations including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair on overhead distribution systems.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines; ensure safety and compliance.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment.
• Perform live-line work using insulated gloves and hot-sticks techniques.
