Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to build and repair overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to multiple sites, and reporting to a Foreman.

You will perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques, follow strict PPE procedures, and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques on energized lines.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines under supervision.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Assist with outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
