Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC is seeking a B Class Lineperson to join the EGS team in overhead distribution construction. The role involves climbing poles, assisting with installation, and working from aerial devices to maintain and repair lines.

You will handle ground tasks, connect transformers, and support with material assembly while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. This position requires endurance for long shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the trade.
• Experience climbing wooden poles.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must be able to work long hours including overtime.
• Must have valid driver license; CDL preferred or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and maintenance of overhead distribution lines and equipment.
• Assist from ground and climb poles with PPE as required.
• Use aerial devices to install and repair lines.
• Make connections at transformers and pull in new wire.
• Prepare materials on ground for lineman installation.
• Maintain safe, clear job sites and follow safety policies.
