Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support our crew in building, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. You will report to the Foreman and participate in outdoor construction activities across sites, including travel and overtime as needed.

This entry-level role emphasizes physical effort, strict safety protocols, and teamwork. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days and be prepared for on-call work in

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and during outages or emergencies.
