Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed. Report to the Foreman and uphold strict safety standards.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience and a CDL. Availability for on-call outages, storms, and overtime is expected, with extensive outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and other overhead line equipment.
