Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites, and report to the Foreman.

The role requires CDL, 3 years of overhead line experience, and willingness to travel and work outside normal hours, including storms and outages. Safety is emphasized across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Extended work locations including out-of-state assignments.
• Standards for working outside normal hours including emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and live-line procedures with proper PPE and tools.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
