Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, reporting to the Foreman. This role involves energized and de-energized lines, travel to sites, and working outdoors in all conditions.

The position emphasizes safety, with live-line routines, proper PPE, and climbing structures. Outages, storms, and on-call rotations may be required to keep utility services reliable.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Willing to work outside normal hours and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage isolation procedures.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and be available for outages or emergencies.
• Perform live de-energized work using appropriate PPE and gloves.
