Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, climb structures, operate bucket trucks, and travel to multiple job sites including out-of-state locations as needed.

Safety is paramount: you will follow PPE protocols, perform live-line work with gloving and hot-stick techniques, and be part of an on-call rotation to handle outages, storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems and work on energized and de-energized lines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers and other overhead line equipment.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques and troubleshoot faults.
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protective equipment.
• Travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, and participate in on-call rotation for outages and emergencies.
