Job summary

PIKE Electric LLC seeks a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution lines, working on energized and de-energized systems, with travel to various job sites under supervision of the Foreman.

Responsibilities include climbing, operating bucket trucks, live-line work with gloves and hot sticks, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring strict safety standards. CDL is required; five years of overhead line experience and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized powerlines and travel to multiple job sites.
• Lead crew members in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and respond to outages, storms, emergencies.
