Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Class B Lineman - Overhead to support construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems across various locations. The role involves travel to other states as needed and performing rigorous physical labor to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high voltage equipment.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years in the field, be able to read and communicate in English, and aim to obtain a CDL within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment.
• A CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems.
• Strings overhead wire and sets poles and anchors.
• Installs transformers, arrestors, crossarms, insulators and switches.
• Troubleshoots primary and secondary systems and clears faults.
• Climbs structures and uses PPE and equipment safely.
• Works outside in varying weather conditions and overtime as required.
