Job summary

River City Construction is seeking an entry-level Overhead 3rd Class Lineman to assist in the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems, transformers, meters, and related equipment. You will climb wood poles and work on energized and de-energized lines, all while adhering to safety rules and procedures.

You will perform tasks on job sites, support the installation or removal of conductors, and contribute to pre-job briefings as part of a safety-focused team in

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
• Communicate in English, both orally and written
• Ability to travel and work in different locations

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow company safety rules while building or maintaining overhead lines
• Support installation or removal of conductors, capacitors, regulators, transformers, and switchgear
• Frame or install wood, steel, or concrete poles and supports
• Maintain company vehicles, PPE, and tools in good condition
• Participate in pre-job briefings and job site tasks
