MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Lineman B in training to assist Journeyman Lineman and Foreman with constructing and maintaining transmission and distribution lines. The role emphasizes safe practices, teamwork, and learning the trade.

The position involves working with poles, transformers, regulators, and other electrical devices, with bucket truck operations and on-site problem solving as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of lineman experience and a valid CDL Class A.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 3+ years of lineman experience and OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution lines.
• Provide technical skills for reliable electrical services.
• Assist in setting or replacing poles and related equipment.
• Drive bucket truck to jobsite and manage truck stock.
• Ensure timely submission of apprentice program documentation.
