Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Overhead Journeyman Lineman for projects in Inverness, FL. You will construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission systems, install and remove poles and equipment, and perform energized line work safely.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship completion, a valid Class A CDL, and at least 4 years of overhead line experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 4 years as Journeyman Lineman on overhead lines.
• Knowledge of OSHA/NESC safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission lines.
• Install and remove poles, crossarms, insulators, transformers and related equipment.
• String, sag, and splice overhead conductors.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and utility vehicles.
• Perform hot stick work and energized line work safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on overhead lines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
