Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman, perform physical tasks and operate during outages and emergencies.

The role emphasizes safety, ability to travel, and working in varied weather conditions. CDL within 60 days is a plus, with potential for long hours and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside regular hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions; safety PPE usage.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotation.
