Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to join our team focused on building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. You will work under a Foreman and support crews in outdoor environments across various job sites.

Responsibilities include assisting with construction and repair, handling equipment, and adhering to safety protocols while traveling for out-of-town assignments when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License, with ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotations.
