Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Foreman to lead the overhead crew in daily tasks, ensuring safety, and managing hours and inspections. The role oversees the Line team and collaborates with multiple departments to deliver projects on schedule.

The position requires a High school diploma or equivalent, 6 years of experience, and a CDL. OSHA 20 certification is a plus. Work is in field environments with physical demands and extensive outdoor duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Class A CDL required.
• OSHA 20 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain materials, permits, and licenses for the job.
• Oversee project work and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Ensure safety standards per MasTec or customer guidelines.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
• Perform aerial tasks such as cable installs and pole work as a qualified observer.
• Place overhead electrical cables and connect wires to terminals.
• Coordinate and supervise daily crew tasks for digging and placing product.
• Perform construction work including trenching and conduit installation.
• Climb poles or operate aerial lifts to place cables.
• Operate equipment to support crew tasks.
