Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Foreman to lead the crew in placing overhead electrical cables, ensure safety, track hours, and coordinate with other crews. The Foreman oversees the Line team and interfaces with multiple departments to meet customer needs.

You will obtain materials, secure permits, supervise quality and timeliness, perform safety briefings, and conduct aerial work when qualified, while driving and operating equipment to support the project on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in related field.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• CDL Class A required.
• OSHA 20 certification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with supervisory responsibilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtain all necessary materials for the job and ensure permits and licenses are in place.
• Oversee project work and assume responsibility for quality and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
• Perform aerial tasks such as cable installs and pole transfers when qualified.
• Place overhead electrical cables and connect wiring.
• Coordinate daily tasks for crew members in digging and material placement.
• Perform construction work including trenching, conduit, and cable routing.
• Climb utility poles or operate aerial lifts to place cables as designed.
• Drive and haul equipment to sites to support crews.
