Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Foreman to lead the crew in placing overhead electrical cables, ensuring safety and daily task execution across multiple departments. The role requires managing crew hours, safety briefings, and coordination with site personnel to meet project timelines.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 years of experience including 2 years in supervision, and a Class A CDL. OSHA-20 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Class A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain all the necessary materials for the job, and ensure all permits and licenses are in place.
• Oversee work related to each project and assume full responsibility for its quality and timeliness.
• Compliance with proper safety standards and procedures according to MasTec or the customer, whichever standard is higher.
• Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
• Perform aerial tasks, such as new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, and lashing.
• Place overhead electrical cables and connect wires to terminals.
• Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product.
• Perform construction work such as digging holes and placing cable in conduit systems.
• Climb utility poles or use aerial lifts to place cables on poles.
• Drive/haul/operate equipment to assist crews on job sites.
