Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites with door hanging or mechanical installation.
• Hands-on welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair overhead doors—garage, sectional, rolling steel, and related hardware—using hand and power tools.
• Perform glass installation for door panels or windows as needed.
• Conduct welding and fabrication to modify or reinforce door components to spec.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble and install systems.
• Apply construction skills—metal stud framing, carpentry, and locksmithing—to support installation projects.
• Apply caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing for insulation and durability.
• Perform electrical work related to fixture installation or door system components as required.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including installation logs and schematic diagrams.
