Utility Lines Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineperson to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves installing and maintaining overhead distribution lines, working from aerial devices, and coordinating with crews to ensure safe, timely project completion.

The position requires climbing poles and operating various hand tools, with typical long hours and potential overtime. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay structure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 4+ years of trade experience required.
• DOT medical card within 90 days; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair overhead distribution lines from an aerial device.
• Assist with excavation for structures or cables per contract specs.
• Make primary connections and terminations; assist with ground material prep.
• Assist with pulling in new wire and sagging; replace/set poles.
• Maintain safe job sites and communicate work to property owners.
• Operate tools and wear hearing protection around loud machinery.
• Work long hours and overtime during holidays or emergencies.
