Job summary

Peak Utility Services Group seeks an experienced Class B Overhead Distribution Lineman for our Louisville, KY location. The role involves working energized/de-energized lines, pole setting, and distribution equipment installation in various weather conditions.

You will perform duties including line work, pole climbs, trenching holes, and transformer connections, while maintaining safety standards and communicating clearly with teammates. OT and storm duty are required.

Qualifications

• Two to Three (2-3) years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.
• Completion of formal training program or at least four years of verifiable experience including three years of energized work.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State Driver License.
• Must have a Clean Valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• Be willing to work overtime and storm work.
• Crew can work 40-60 Hours per week.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of electrical line work methods and equipment.
• Climb poles and work in various weather conditions.
• Operate service truck.
• Dig holes and set poles for electrical lines.
• String wire on new construction or repairs.
• Set and connect transformers and distribution equipment.
• Report accidents and safety hazards to foreman.
