XKIG is seeking an Overhead Foreman to supervise and perform construction and maintenance of electrical overhead distribution systems at multiple sites, with possible inter-state travel.

The role demands extensive journeyman lineman experience, strong safety focus, and the ability to lead crews, install components, troubleshoot high voltage systems, and manage field operations in demanding outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journey-level lineman engaged in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of distribution electrical systems.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel and work for extended periods in multiple locations.
• Lift more than 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime when requested.
• Safety sensitive position requiring background check and drug screen; meet I-9 requirements; E-Verify.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction or maintenance work on energized and de-energized overhead systems.
• Manage crew members and mentor less experienced employees.
• Lead hot stick work on energized lines and conduct pre-job briefings.
• Set poles and anchors; install transformers, arrestors, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary systems and replace fuses; handle high voltage safely.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools; perform rigorous physical labor.
• Work at heights or confined spaces; obtain line clearances and understand grounding.
