Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced overhead crane operator for our manufacturing shop. You will operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include pre-operation checks, interpreting load charts, coordinating with supervisors and riggers, inspecting gear, and assisting in crane maintenance. Bilingual English/Spanish reading or speaking is required.

Qualifications

• Valid crane operator certification or license.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a crane operator in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to interpret load charts and rigging diagrams.
• Reading and speaking in English or Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks for crane safety and function.
• Interpret load charts and rigging diagrams to determine load configurations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, and team members to plan lifts safely.
• Inspect lifting attachments and rigging for defects and report issues.
• Monitor crane operations for safe, precise movement of loads.
• Assist in maintenance and minor repairs of cranes and equipment.
• Participate in training programs and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
