Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC is seeking skilled Crane Operators for our manufacturing shop on first shift. This role performs lifting operations, conducts pre‑op checks, and interprets load charts to plan safe lifts.

You will coordinate with ground crews, inspect gear, and assist in crane maintenance while adhering to safety policies. The position offers weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid crane operator certification or license.
• Experience as crane operator in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and components.
• Perform pre-operational crane checks and ensure safety compliance.
• Read and interpret load charts and rigging diagrams for safe lifting.
• Coordinate with supervisors, riggers and team members to plan lifts.
• Inspect lifting attachments and report issues.
• Maintain safe crane operations and adapt to changing loads.
• Assist in crane maintenance and participate in training on safety and policies.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Crane Operators to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on first shift.Benefits:Weekly PayMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401(k) with a generous company matchFree Basic Life InsuranceShort & Long-Term DisabilitySchedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessaryResponsibilities:Operate various types of cranes, such as overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and components as needed.Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.Interpret load charts and rigging diagrams to determine load capacities, rigging configurations, and lifting procedures.Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, and other team members to plan and execute lifting operations safely and efficiently.Inspect lifting attachments, slings, and rigging hardware for defects or damage before each lift and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.Monitor crane operations closely to ensure safe and precise movement of loads, adjusting crane controls as needed to maintain stability and control.Communicate effectively with ground crew, spotters, and other personnel involved in lifting operations to coordinate movements and ensure safety.Assist in the maintenance and repair of cranes and related equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments, to ensure optimal performance.Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge related to crane operation, safety procedures, and company policies.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.Education Requirements/Qualifications:Minimum of a high school education or equivalentValid crane operator certification or license.Proven experience as a crane operator in a manufacturing or construction environment.Strong understanding of crane operation principles, load dynamics, and rigging techniques.Ability to interpret load charts, rigging diagrams, and other technical documents.Job Requirements/Special Skills:Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.Ability to work at heightsAttention to detail and accuracy in crane operation and load handling.Ability to work independently and on a teamStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and work for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
