Job summary

Lexicon seeks an Overhead Crane Operator to move and position loads with precision. You will operate overhead cranes, observe load hook safety, and follow written or verbal instructions to ensure smooth, safe material handling.

This safety-sensitive position requires at least 2 years of crane operation experience, preferred high school or equivalent, and the ability to pass company certification tests. The role includes weekly pay and opportunities for career development through Lexicon

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a crane operator.
• Must be able to pass company certification tests.
• Must be able to read and interpret instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments.
• Observes load hookup and determines the safety of the load.
• Controls crane speed and direction per instructions.
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Inspects crane for defects and reports malfunctions.
• Prepares daily inspection reports.
• Adheres to OSHA rules and safety policies.
• Overtime and punctual attendance required.
