Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced overhead crane operator for our manufacturing shop. You will lift, move, and position materials using overhead cranes, while maintaining strict safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include pre-operational checks, interpreting load charts and rigging diagrams, coordinating with supervisors and teammates, and assisting with crane maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid crane operator certification.
• Proven crane operator experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong knowledge of crane operation principles, load dynamics, and rigging.
• Ability to read load charts and rigging diagrams.
• Proficiency in English or Spanish for communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials.
• Perform pre-operational crane checks for safety.
• Interpret load charts and rigging diagrams for load capacities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and crew to plan lifts safely.
• Inspect lifting attachments and report issues.
• Monitor crane operations for stability and control.
• Communicate with ground crew and spotters during lifts.
• Assist in crane maintenance and minor repairs.
• Participate in training programs to improve crane skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
