Job summary

Brehob is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, document actions, and ensure cranes and hoists operate safely while complying with OSHA and ANSI standards.

Travel up to 5% is required; a clean MVR and valid driver's license are necessary. Opportunities include company vehicle and potential for per diem during overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Work with voltages up to 480V and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean driving record with valid license.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
• Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards

Job Requirements

• Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver's license
• Must be ok with some out of town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay.
• Must be able to work in elevated areas
• Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
