Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is hiring a technician in Indianapolis to troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure crane safety compliance. You will document actions, inspect systems, and provide repair recommendations in accordance with OSHA and ANSI standards.

Some out-of-town travel is required with per diem and hotel coverage. Candidates should hold a valid driver’s license, be able to work in elevated areas, and manage voltages up to 480V under

Qualifications

• Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in elevated areas.
• Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Must be able to travel out-of-town up to 5% with per diem and hotel covered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs.
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by inspections and repair work.
• Document service and installation actions with forms and checklists.
• Inspect overhead cranes and hoists for OSHA/ANSI safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
• Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards

Job Requirements

• Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver's license
• Must be ok with some out of town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay.
• Must be able to work in elevated areas
• Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
