DeSHAZO, LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician III to travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and industrial electrical troubleshooting, strong communication, and willingness to travel; candidates should have 5-7 years of crane service experience and be able to work extended hours and holidays in

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform in-depth mechanical and industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of 3-phase motors, controls, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments; overnight travel possible.
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.

Job Overview

The Overhead Crane Service Technician III will travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years of crane service technician experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform in-depth mechanical and industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of 3-phase motors, controls, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments; overnight travel possible.
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
• Lift / Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Possess the ability to hear.

Working Conditions

Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.

Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
