Job summary

Cranes and Compressors Inc is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. You will keep overhead crane systems operating, inspect cranes for OSHA/ANSI compliance, and document actions taken.

Candidates should have at least one year of crane/hoist experience, a clean MVR, and be able to work in elevated areas with voltages up to 480V under lockout/tagout procedures. Some travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of crane and hoist experience.
• Maintain a low incident MVR and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in elevated areas.
• Able to work with voltages up to 480V and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs.
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by inspections and troubleshooting.
• Documents service and installation actions via forms and checklists.
• Inspect overhead cranes and hoists to ensure OSHA/ANSI compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
