Job summary

Aerotek in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Overhead Crane and Hoist Technician to inspect overhead cranes, hoists, rigging, and related lifting equipment. You will identify wear, safety issues, and potential failures, recommending corrective actions, and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

This onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime opportunities and competitive pay. A company service vehicle and tools are provided where applicable, along with a comprehensive

Qualifications

2-3 years of industrial service technician experience.
Experience with crane inspection and crane service.
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical components.
Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Inspect overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging.
Identify wear and safety issues; recommend actions.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Document inspections and repairs per standards.
Install, assemble, and commission cranes and control systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
Troubleshoot complex issues and perform emergency repairs.
