Qualifications

• Overhead crane experience not required, but familiarity with cranes/hoists is a plus.
• Welding aptitude would be a benefit.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Demonstrated positive attendance record.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Service Technician will run electrical and mechanical diagnostics and deliver required repairs. They are responsiblefor performing comprehensive quality inspections and preventative maintenance services on overhead cranes andhoists. They will spend the majority of their time on clients' sites providing service and, as such, are expected to serve as frontline representativesof the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists, and drives.
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Proper use of a man lift during service. Must be comfortable working at heights.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to frequently walk, climb, kneel, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and use a ladder or stool.
• Frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise, and heights.
• Ability to work in outside conditions during all seasons.
• Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
